Here at Carter and Faraday we have been fully engulfed with all the sport this summer, firstly the Euros as we have already posted about. At the moment however all we are talking about in the office is the Olympics and Team GB’s success. Britain have kicked on from the success of London 2012 and look set to break the record haul of medals at an overseas Olympics. One thing that I have really enjoyed is the togetherness of the team out in Rio and also the support has been unanimously positive back in the UK.
I find it amazing what a team can do when they are working together with a positive attitude with agreed goals. This team ethic is something that Carter and Faraday strive to achieve within the working environment, to achieve our goals. Especially at this time of the year with operatives taking holidays it can become challenging, but that team ethos means that each employee is willing to go the extra mile to help cover their co-workers.
